Project Contribution: Packaging designer, packaging photography art direction.
Skagen teamed up with native Danes; Helena Christensen a model and photographer, and designer Camilla Stærk, to create this limited edition jewelry collection for Summer 2015. The Svale Collection, Danish word for swallow, was inspired by the balance of natural elegance and understated beauty found in nature.
The collection was featured in the GOOP (by Gwyneth Paltrow) Chicago pop-up store.
The packaging for this collection won an honorable mention in HOW magazine's Winter 2015 In-House design awards, featured in the printed issue and online at (scroll down to “consumer” section):
